About The Artist
Honie Gold was born on the eastside of Dallas, TX on September 1 , 2000 . As a young child she knew that , she was destined for greatness. Always writing poetry, songs, loved to rhyme and truly felt like music was a large part of her life.
Starting music at the age of only eight years old, she grew up in a tough neighborhood and was raised by a teenage mom, having the responsibility of taking care of her younger sisters , and share a bedroom with six other people.

Honie gold's Influences
When asked what influences her, Honie says “ Nicki Minaj is most definitely a big inspiration of mine , when I was growing up because , I feel like she birthed a new style of rap and opened doors for female rappers . Along with Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez, MC Lyte, Lauryn Hill . I also love Jhene Aiko, Teyana Taylor , Normoni , Sza , H.E.R and other strong black female artists. I think it’s important also that we as WOMEN . Continue to be an inspiration , for the younger generation to look up too as well . But yeah , they hard .”
